Built on a 10000-m2 site on a farms side of Wafra agriculture area, Kuwait. The house lifted 140 centimeters above the ground to maximize the views of the surrounding horse paddocks. The layout divided into two axes One of them contains the horse stable, while the other dedicated to the bedrooms, dinning and large living area overlocking the swimming pool. The 40m terrace shaded with 3m cantilevered roof increases the usable areas also created to work as a protection from the sun and the sandy weather of the region.
This vacation house, built with light weight thermal insulated blocks, glass, concrete structure, and light weight steel roof system. The main views from the house are quite turned to the desert landscaping, horses and the swimming pool. Guest and family spaces cover larger area of the house overlocking the swimming pool that surrounded with desert landscaping and horse areanas. We also anticipates the moment when the natural aging of the landscape will make the house blend more into the site and improve the intended privacy with maintaining the views.
