The concept of “home-like” office design refers to creating a work environment that feels comfortable, cozy, and familiar, similar to the ambiance in one’s own home. This approach is aimed at increasing employee comfort and productivity by reducing stress and creating a positive and relaxing atmosphere.
The design elements that contribute to a home-like office environment include the use of natural materials, warm colors, comfortable furnishings, and personal touches such as artwork, plants, and books. Additionally, the inclusion of communal spaces such as lounges, kitchens, and breakout areas encourages socialization and collaboration among employees.
We used a custom shelving design as a space divider instead of traditional walls to offer a flexible, functional, and cost-effective solution while also enhancing the overall aesthetic of the space.
