View 14 Beauty Lounge is located high up on the 14th floor in Al-Ghunaim tower in the heart of Kuwait city with panoramic views overlooking Kuwait Bay.
The beauty lounge covers an area of 300 sqm, with brushed concrete flooring, a white cubed ceiling and custom-made recessed faux-mahogany wooden panelling which with the use of large mirrors creates a warm and deceptively simple luminous environment. The entrance lobby and reception area feature the company logo made using shiny solid brass contrasting with the lighter wall behind skilfully fashioned with handmade concrete plastering.

The contrast between plain round concrete columns, as well as high white ceiling beams creates a striking entrance making the lobby an excellent welcoming location for receiving customers. We created a very open space without any false ceilings allowing for a clean 4 metre high ceiling that lends a refreshing atmosphere.
The space is again enhanced by using indoor potted trees to help the clients stay connected to nature and the outdoors at all times while enjoying the beauty services provided indoors. In fact nature is brought inside in every possible way through wood paneling, lighting, minimal decorations, lush palm greenery and sheer fabric curtains are just some of the elements employed to create a relaxing environment.
The client was looking to create a kind of retreat where customers could enjoy the beauty treatments and take in the sea views as if in a lofty sanctuary above the noise and busy streets below giving customers more calm time for exploring the senses.
By adding a few touches of bright colours in the from of L-shaped magenta banquettes with patterned scatter cushions to animate the space. The interiors are in fact embracing texture and giving customers something they can feel and even turn into a memorable experience which they will want to repeat.
